Check-In
All teams must complete Online Check-In by Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
Required uploads:
- Team roster with player name, birthdate, and jersey number. A registrar-signed roster is only required when not using a system-generated roster.
- All guest players clearly identified on the roster.
- Signed medical release for every player (including guests) — coach must have on the field for each game.
Teams with ineligible players will not receive points for affected games.
Players & Guest Players
Eligibility
- Recreational players only; no Select or Premier players.
- All players must be registered through US Club Soccer or another appropriate affiliate.
- Only players listed on the roster at check-in are eligible to play.
Guest players
- Maximum of 5 per team without written authorization from the Tournament Director.
- Must be recreational, properly registered, age-appropriate (same age or one year younger), and may play for only one team in the tournament.
Uniforms
- Teams must wear matching uniforms with unique jersey numbers. Goalkeepers exempt from matching or numbering.
Schedules, Readiness & Communication
- Schedules post on the Tournament website. Coaches must review carefully and re-check close to kickoff for updates or field changes.
- Teams not ready within 5 minutes of the start time may be required to forfeit.
- Minimum to start: 7 players (U11–U19) or 4 players (U9–U10).
Tournament volunteers will be present at most venues. For additional questions, contact the tournament registrar Steven Bullock at 425-478-4462.
Divisions & Acceptance
Division sizes and compositions are determined by the Tournament Director and Scheduler. Age groups may be combined if entries are insufficient.
Applying before the deadline does not guarantee acceptance.
Coaches Responsibilities
- Know these rules and communicate them to players, parents, and staff.
- Know your schedule times and locations; field addresses are on the tournament website.
Field Rules (Pets, Heaters, Drones, Sidelines)
- No pets at any tournament facility (service animals permitted). Teams bringing pets may lose points; individuals may be asked to leave.
- No alcohol or smoking at any facility.
- Park only in designated areas; do not block access roads.
- No propane or electric heaters at venues.
- Drones prohibited for any purpose.
Sideline layout
- Both teams on the same touchline between half and the 18-yard line (extended). Spectators opposite side, two yards back; no one allowed between the 18 (extended) and the goal line.
- Stadium exceptions: if teams must be opposite, spectators must sit in bleachers/behind fence.
- 7v7 fields: spectators opposite the teams; use the goal box/5-yard line as a spectator limit when space is tight.
Home Team, Game Balls, Referees
- Home team (listed first) changes jerseys in case of color conflict.
- Game balls provided by the tournament.
- Referees are assigned by North Chapter Referees (Mukilteo YSC assignor). If no referee arrives within 5 minutes, coaches select a mutually agreed referee to begin the match.
This is a recreational tournament — treat all referees with respect. Persistent abuse may result in loss of points or removal from the event.
Discipline & Cards
- Teams accumulating four red cards must report to Headquarters immediately after the match for review; additional penalties may be imposed.
- Referees report send-offs to the Disciplinary Director and Assignor.
- Players/coaches sent off are suspended for at least the next match and must leave the field/park/complex until served.
